An eSIM is a digital SIM profile installed on your phone — no plastic card. Peak eSIM delivers travel data this way so you can connect in minutes after purchase, without airport kiosks or roaming surprises.
Download Peak eSIM, sign in with Apple or Google, choose a destination, and complete checkout in the app. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play. Your QR code and setup instructions appear under My eSIMs after payment.
After purchase, open the QR code in the app and add a cellular plan from your phone settings. On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. On Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM. Follow the on-screen prompts. Most installs take a few minutes on Wi-Fi.
Yes. Install on stable Wi-Fi at home, then leave the Peak eSIM line off (or not selected for data) until you arrive. When you land, switch mobile data to Peak eSIM and turn on Data Roaming.
Most current iPhones (XS and later) and many recent Android flagships support eSIM. The phone must be carrier-unlocked. Peak eSIM checks compatibility when you open the app and warns you if the device does not appear to support eSIM.
Plans typically start when the eSIM is installed and first used on a supported network, or according to the validity shown on the package. Check the plan details in the app for the exact start rule and duration.
When the allowance is used or the validity period ends, data stops automatically. There are no surprise roaming charges from Peak eSIM. Buy another plan in the app to continue.
Yes. Peak eSIM is data-focused. Keep your primary SIM or eSIM for calls, SMS, and WhatsApp. Set Peak eSIM as the mobile data line only. WhatsApp stays tied to the number you registered with.
Peak eSIM plans are for mobile data. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime, or similar apps over data. Your home number can remain active for regular calls if you keep that line on.
Personal hotspot is available on most devices when the Peak eSIM line is supplying mobile data. Tethering uses your plan allowance, so watch remaining data if you share the connection.
Refunds apply to plans bought in the Peak eSIM app. Consumer withdrawal rights, where they apply, typically end when the eSIM is activated. If a plan cannot be used because of an error on our side, contact us within 30 days. Approved refunds go back through the App Store or Google Play and can take up to 30 business days to appear.
Write to support@peakesim.com within 30 days of the charge with your order details and a short explanation. We will investigate and follow up. Do not share full card numbers — Apple and Google handle card details, not Peak eSIM.
Confirm Peak eSIM is selected for mobile data, Data Roaming is on, and airplane mode is off. Toggle airplane mode once, then wait a minute for the network to attach. Restart the phone if needed. Still offline? Email us a screenshot of Cellular / SIM settings and the destination you are in.
Increase screen brightness and avoid glare. Scan from another device if the code is on the same phone. Some Android phones allow adding an eSIM from a photo. If scanning still fails, contact support with your order details and we will help with a manual activation code when available.
Usually no. Locked devices often block other carriers, including eSIM data plans. Ask your home carrier to unlock the phone before you travel, then install Peak eSIM.
